This Sunday 18th September, the whole College will take part in the ’12 Labours of Radley’, a day long programme of challenges based on the 12 Labours of Hercules, all in aid of three charities: SSNAP (local), Cancer Research UK (national) and Water Aid (international). The three charities were chosen by the boys towards the end of the last academic year shortly after the ‘Charities Fair’, which was an opportunity for representatives of charities to promote and explain what their charity did.
All ten socials will roam the campus as teams, taking part in a wide range of activities such as cycling, running and hill climbing! The day will encourage teamwork between year groups, which will be a great opportunity for the new shells to meet some of the older boys.
The target for the fundraising is £100,000 as a school, meaning that each social has been tasked with raising £10,000. The current school total sits just over £30,000, but it is not too late to spread the word about our challenge to gather more support!
