Art
The Art School at Radley College is located in the Sewell Centre. Opened in 1979 By Sir Patrick Nairne It houses several purpose built art studios and an exhibitions Gallery. 4 full time members of staff offer expertise in a wide variety of Fine Art mediums.
Art is studied as a core subject in the first year at Radley. Boys then have the opportunity to undertake more rigorous study at GCSE and Advanced Level. Often leading to University courses in Architecture, History of Art and Applied Fine Arts. A significant number of Radleians have gone on to become dealers in some of London’s major commercial galleries and auction houses. As well as full time practicing fine artists, and leading museum curators.
