On Thursday 29th June, 125 Fifth Formers took part in a Charities service day. In groups of 5-10 boys, the teams went out to 16 charities (including Helen & Douglas House, Barnardos, SOFEA, Food Banks and the Footsteps Foundation) in the local area. There were some incredible fundraising and volunteering efforts at charities of all types, from cancer care to music therapy for disabled children.
The boys did themselves proud and it was a wonderful way to finish off the term. Feedback from the charities was extremely positive and it was a tremendously fulfilling experience for all of the boys.
