On Sunday December 10th, 20 pupils made their way over to the Library, with duvets wrapped around them and books in their hands for the annual Charity Readathon. We all set up our camps around the Library, got comfy and started reading. At midnight, everyone congregated in one part of the Library to read ghost stories to each other and to refresh themselves. The plan was to then go back and see if we could read throughout the rest of the night. Several people nodded off, but a few hardy people made it through the night. The pupils managed to raise £220 for Radley Primary School’s Library, which will go towards materials for fitted shelving for their book collection. The night had a jolly atmosphere and was a good way to end the long term.
