Classics Magazine: Issue 7
The seventh edition of the Classics Magazine once more gives a flavour of events in the Classics department at Radley. All articles are written by boys, from the Shells to the 6.2s, or by old Radleians, who are either studying or have studied a Classical subject at University.
In this edition, there are reviews of a trip to the British Museum, a lecture by AC Grayling on the Pre-Socratic philophy, a lecture by Ed Bispham on Cicero's letters, a visit from celebrated author Ben Kane and much else.
The aim of the magazine is to showcase the range of topics which the study of Classics covers, as well as provide an opportunity for boys to reflect on what they have seen, read or heard, whilst also seeing what the subject involves at university and what jobs Old Radleians go on to do after their studies.
