This summer Radley is supporting a fundraising initiative - Cricket for Crohn’s (C4C) - set up by Will Payne, C Social, 6.2 and his family to raise money for Crohn’s disease, a severe and incurable form of inflammatory bowel disease.
In the 3 weeks since Will launched the C4C initiative, he has raised more than £3,000, which is a truly fantastic figure and half way towards his target. Not only is Will fundraising to help research into a much needed cure but also for the medical teams and support groups that help him deal with this highly debilitating disease. IBDs affect just over 110,000 people in the UK and are being increasingly diagnosed in young people under the age of 30. Will is determined to raise awareness as much as he is to raise funds.
The summer fundraising is happening to coincide with Radley’s cricket fixtures. Posters are being displayed in the Pavilions and Coffee Shop along with collections boxes and a personal Bio from Will. Parental and visitor donations will be very gratefully received. Thank you, in advance, for your support.
