The bi-annual classical singing competition known as the Ferguson was held in the Silk Hall today and as usual featured boys from across all year groups in two classes: the Festival and Senior Classes.
Our adjudicator was Malcolm Archer from Winchester College and he had a really difficult job! The evening class was in effect a wonderful concert of a huge variety of vocal music; everything from Vaughan Williams through to Morricone. In the end Arran Ryder was awarded the Ferguson Singing Cup, with Freddie Elwes coming in a very close second. Well done to all involved.
