The RAF section went flying at RAF Benson on Thursday, 23rd April and one of the cadets, Tom Foster-Brown (A) was the last-ever cadet flown by Flt Lt Nigel Pitchforth.
Flt Lt Pitchforth has been voluntarily flying cadets since 1976, in the Chipmunk, Bulldog and then Tutor aircraft. In his day job, he flew the Vulcan, Nimrod and Tristar for the RAF until he retired in 2005. He has now retired again, as he is over the age limit for cadet flying, but his last sorties were with Radley boys.
