Three Radley boys were selected to race for Great Britain at the Coupe de la Jeunesse in Hazelwinkel, Belgium. In the coxed four event Joshua Bowesman-Jones and James Innes-Ker teamed up to achieve two gold medals on both days of racing, an outstanding achievement. Max Dunlap then raced in the men’s eight, winning an excellent bronze in Saturday’s race, and then a fine gold on the final day of racing, just edging out the fast moving Swiss crew. This marks the end of an excellent season for all three oarsmen. Follow this link for a full GB Rowing round-up of the racing.
There is still one member of the Radley College Boat Club still competing this summer. Archie McChesney is currently racing in the coxed four for Great Britian at the Junior World Championships, in Trakai, Lithuania, August 2nd to 6th. We wish Archie the very best of luck throughout the competition, to follow his progress please go to the world rowing junior championships website here.
