On Saturday 1st July, the College hosted Gaudy 2017. During the day, parents were treated to a number of exhibitions around the College. The Sewell Centre Gallery displayed the Art Department’s Best of Year Show, the Shells' Independent Learning Projects were displayed in the Coffee Shop. A Level and GCSE work was displayed in the Design Technology Department. There was an original drama composition in the Drama Studio and a Camera Obscura by the Bigside cricket pitch. Plus, the Biology Department’s College Animals were also on display in Queen’s Court. The marquees looked magnificent next to the pitches as the Ist XI played the Rangers on Bigside and the Radley College Pipers serenaded the boys from their Socials to the pavilion, where everyone gathered to hear addresses by the Warden and Senior Prefect.
The ‘Charities Gazebo’ featured details of fundraising activities by Radleians over the summer holiday as well as further information on the Gehandu Trip to Tanzania. Radley champagne was also available with a backdrop of Jazz. A parade by Radley College Beagles, followed by leavers' farewells to Dons concluded the events of the day by the marquee.
