On Tuesday 11th October, the Geography Society were hosted by St. Helen and St Katherine school who had organised a lecture by author Tim Marshall on 'The Power of Flags.' The students heard a 50 minute lecture before enjoying a sumptuous three course dinner provided by their renowned French chef.
Tim Mitchell's lecture at St. Helen and Katharine school was very intriguing as he fascinated us with his new book which was published recently called 'Worth Dying For'. Moreover his knowledge in flags and descriptions was remarkable, we all found it all very well organised and interesting.
The dinner was a wonderful opportunity to discuss the theme of the evening and geography in general, with the girls.
