On Saturday the 6th February, the Radley crews had a good day at the Hampton Head on Saturday. Despite strong winds, the crews all posted encouraging performances for this time of the season.
The 1st VIII finished in a good 2nd place overall, just 3.3 seconds behind winners Westminster. The 2nd VIII have come a long way in a short time and despite missing one of their key rowers the crew finished in 5th place in their division, even beating three school's 1st VIIIs in the process.
The J16 VIII also showed promising potential by finishing 3rd in their division. Due to some last minute injuries we were only able to enter two J15 VIIIs. These were "matched crews" and finished within two seconds of each other, in 12th and 13th positions in their divisions.
