The final exhibition in the Sewell Centre Gallery this year is ‘Hopes and Dreams: Statements of Intent
Explored’. This is an exhibition of work by
members of Letter Exchange, organised by Letter
Exchange’s Secretary, Mark Frith (above, top).
A private view of this exhibition, which runs until May 13th, was held on the evening of Friday,
April 15th, with music by Radley’s sixth-form band (above), The Weathermen,
in one of their last performances at the College.
Letter Exchange is a national organisation of lettering artists.
For this touring exhibition, Letter Exchange invited its members to submit work
based around the theme of manifestos. This broad brief allowed participants to
explore a rich and diverse catalogue of texts to discover phrases and passages
that resonate and inspire.
