The Independent Schools Inspectorate inspected Radley for a full inspection in March 2013 and a boarding inspection in February 2016. The full reports can be seen in the right sidebar.
In the 2013 report each section is graded as "excellent", "good", "sound" or "unsatisfactory". In the case of the first category - achievements - there is also a possible higher grade of "exceptional".
To have achieved the top grade in all categories is an enormous tribute to all that the boys and the teaching and non-teaching staff do at Radley and we are delighted that an experienced team of inspectors has recognised the quality of the education we offer.
The 2016 inspection was based on the National Minimum Standards for Boarding and so grades are not given. We were found to be compliant in all areas.
Rest assured we will certainly not rest on our laurels. There are always improvements to be made and the self-critical approach of Common Room and Council will remain one of the strengths of the school.
