On the evening of Friday, 30th November, the Art Department unveiled the Michaelmas Exhibition from Iona House Gallery, Woodstock, in the Sewell Centre Gallery. The evening was officially opened by the Warden and Jayne Rumsey (above), the Director of Iona House Gallery.
There was a Silent Auction during the evening to raise money for the charity, ‘Mary's Meals’, which feeds over one million children in twelve countries worldwide. 45 artists have donated pictures. Over £7,000 was raised on the night, feeding over 600 children for a year.
The Weathermen (below), Radley’s resident 6.2 Band – Angus and Hector Macdonald, Felix White and Leo Lawton – played live at the event, which was organised by Jayne Rumsey and Radley’s Exhibitions Manager, Amanda Jewell.
The Iona House Gallery Exhibition runs until December 6th. Bids can still be placed for any unsold pictures until then, helping to raise further funds for ‘Mary’s Meals’.
