An Exchange Party from our partner school, Kent School, Connecticut, spent five days at Radley from February 2nd to 7th. The Party (pictured) included six students aged 15-17 and four Faculty members, led by Matt Austin, Maths teacher and Assistant Director of Studies.
During their time here, the students (at least the boys) stayed in Radley Socials and attended classes and other activities; the entire Party also tried their hand at Real Tennis. A prime purpose of the trip was also to ring bells at some famous English churches – and the students and staff spent a full day in Oxford, ringing bells at churches and Colleges, including Lincoln College, Carfax, St Giles and St Aldates. They also visited St Paul’s Cathedral (seeing the famous Dean’s Staircase in the process) and rang the bells for Sunday Evensong at St Giles-in-the-Fields, Holborn. They even found time to take a trip to Stonehenge. All in all, it was an action-packed, enjoyable visit.
