Resident Pastoral Housemistress

We have a vacancy for a Pastoral Housemistress (Matron) required to assist in the running of one of our Socials (boarding houses) which currently houses c70 boys.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a warm personality and an interest in the wellbeing and development of teenage boys.  They will have good organisational skills, an understanding and tolerant nature and work well in a team.  Benefits include a self-contained flat available throughout the year and long school holidays.  Further details are available in the attachment below:

Zero Hour Contract

We have an exciting vacancy for a qualified Band 5/6 nurse to join our small and friendly team in the Medical Centre on a zero hour contract, providing cover for periods of sickness and other absences.  Our team provides 24/7 care for the pupils during term time so candidates must be able to offer flexibility.  Hours will include weekday, evening, weekend and night shifts.   We offer a supportive working environment and professional development is encouraged.  Experience of school nursing would be an advantage.  Please see the job description below for more details.

Security Porter
Evening/Night Shifts, All Year

This is a job share position working evenings/nights on a rota of six days on, six days off, all year, patrolling the extensive grounds of the College and surrounding buildings.  The successful candidate will also act as the first point of contact outside of normal working hours for visitors to the school.  Holding a BSIA licence would be an advantage but is not essential.  Please see the job description below for more information, including details of the hours of work.

Catering Opportunities

The Catering Department offers a wide range of food services across campus and operates seven days a week, 48 weeks of the year serving boys, staff and resident families.  In addition, it also provides a range of function and conference facilities both internally and for external residential courses during the holidays.  The following vacancies have arisen:

Kitchen Porters - c40 hrs per week
Various shift patterns available, including full and part-time hours working weekdays, weekends or evening shifts.
Food Service Assistants - part time, evenings and weekends
Counter Assistant - flexible shifts available
