Sports Sox As you are probably by now aware, the Radleian Society has been restructured in order to re-energise OR activities and to bring ORs and the School closer together. I have been asked to co-ordinate the OR Sports Societies to achieve these aims and would like to enlist your help. We intend to look at ways of sharing our experiences of running these societies and co-ordinating our activities, both on and off the field. For example, we will have joint fixtures, competing in more than one sport on the same day against the same opposition, probably other Old Boys; have combined social events, for example a Sportsmen's Dinner involving all OR Sports Society members; represent our societies at more general social gatherings, typically taking tables at OR Dinners and share our databases with the central Radleian Society database. There are currently active societies for Cricket, Golf, Fives, Football, Hockey, Rowing, Rugger, Sailing, Squash, Lawn Tennis & Tennis & Rackets. If you would like to participate in any of these please contact the clubs below. If you would like to talk about setting up a new one, do get in touch. I would welcome your views on how best we can accomplish our aims and to know whether you would be willing to play an active role.
