Year Group Contacts The Radleian Society Office at Radley is the hub of all this new activity and it will aim to offer support and information to all those organising events and just wanting to keep in touch with each other. To increase the ability of the office to keep in touch with us, we need to maintain closer contact with each other. We will do this by having a number of contacts by year group (by year of arrival at Radley) who can act as pin men, or women, for their specific year. Their role is important, but not too onerous. They will help in a number of ways: (i) contacting members about specific events (ii) passing on members' ideas for social events, venues etc (iii) sustaining an information conduit with the office for members and about members By delegating the role of drumming up enthusiasm for, and targeting interest in, events to year group contacts we can greatly increase the potential of the Radleian Society to provide what its members would like. The list below contains the names of those who are keen to help make these positive changes. I hope it will grow to include someone from every year. This important role asks little, in time or effort, from each of the contacts but their aggregate effort creates a great force. It is hoped that as many as possible suggest their own initiatives. We would welcome contact from all ORs and parents who would like to help out in this way or who have ideas about improving the contact system still further. Mark Rushton |
