When Radley overhauled its website in March this year, the Radleian Society and the Foundation came together to offer a whole new online experience for Old Radleians.

The Radleian Society website is for Old Radleians and parents. It has been designed to keep you in touch with the School and each other and is updated frequently.

To keep you informed, we have dedicated sections dealing with events, our publications and fundraising:

• A calendar of Radleian Society events provides details of forthcoming events, together with online booking forms and lists of those attending. It's a good way to find out whether your contemporaries are coming to the same event as you.
• We have used the website to archive issues of Lusimus and the Old Radleian. You can now read the main articles online, which is especially useful for all those ORs and parents who live abroad, as they won't have to wait several weeks until the printed edition reaches them. Then there is the Radley Photo Album, where we regularly display new pictures of Radley and events.
• The Radley Foundation section will expand over the coming months as Radley's new fundraising venture springs into life. It will be giving you detailed information on all its projects, how to give and how much money has been raised so far.

So that you can keep us informed, the "Contacting Us" section contains:

• Details of all the people associated with the Radleian Society and the Radley Foundation (including committee members and Year Group contacts).
• Answers to your frequently asked questions.
• Details on the Radley Information Form, which you can now complete online or alternatively print off a blank copy to complete.
• We have even made it easy for you to inform us of address changes.

Finally, we hope Old Radleians will want to maintain contact with each other once they've left Radley and we have therefore introduced several new online "Networking" services.

• The Online Contacts section, where Old Radleians can ask us to publish their email and/or website addresses for others to see. At present, over a thousand ORs have asked to be included. While most ORs have just listed their email address, many have used it to advertise their own business websites, from B&Bs through estate agents to stationery shops - the list of websites on offer is truly fascinating and it is well worth trawling through the whole list. Also, AMC Kilburn (1949) has used his entry to publish a picture of himself (the way he looks now) and would like to encourage others to do the same. Please be reassured though that we only publish email and/or website addresses (and pictures!) if you have given us permission to do so, which you can do through the website.
• Our mail forwarding facility. We have around 5700 addresses and 2000 email addresses of ORs on our database, so we can help if you would like to write to a fellow OR, with whom you have lost contact, if they are not featured in the online contacts section. Just send your communication (email or traditional letter) to us and we will forward it to the OR in question. We then leave it up to that person to get in contact with you.
• A complete list of all the Old Radleians with whom we have lost touch. If you have a spare minute, maybe you could have a look through, as you just might still be in contact with one of those people.
• If you need help in finding a new career, you could make use of our Careers Assistance feature, where we will try to put you in contact with an OR in your chosen field.

The website is an important tool which enables us to communicate with you on an ongoing basis. Please do browse the site regularly, as it will be updated often and new sections, like the Radley Foundation, will expand with time. We have plenty more ideas of what we would like to see, but it is your site and your suggestions would be very welcome.
