Henry Morris (1996) rowed in the winning Oxford Trial crew on the Tideway in December.

'Distant Prospect', owned by the Rae Smiths (1933 - 1973) and Pauline Gale, and trained by Ian Balding won the Cesarewitch at Newmarket in October.

Tom Etridge (1985) won the 2002 Oxford and Cambridge Golfing Society's President's Putter at Rye on 6th January. The Times reported that the President's Putter "has been won by a publican who does not drink" while the Telegraph's correspondent was convinced that the winner's name was Etteridge.

Julian Snow (1977) and Tim Chisholm of America, the World Real Tennis Doubles Champions, were defeated in the British Land Open Doubles at Queen's in December 2001.

The OR Fives team, the Radley Manuals (consisting of Tom Maconie (1992), Will Hardyment (1996), Peter de Winton (1961) and Stephen Jones), managed to beat A Radley IV (Giles Cheney, Sam Grant Dalton, Ralph Windham, Harry Farnham) 142:114.
