It would give Radley great pleasure if you would like to name a scholarship or the whole or part of one of our new buildings after yourself, a member of your family or perhaps a contemporary or don whose presence at Radley made an impact on your life. We like to recognise our benefactors and we feel that the sense of continuity that goes with named benefactions, many of them coming from those closely associated with the College, helps to make both past and present pupils aware of the affection that it inspires in so many. It may cost less than you think to make gifts of this size. Have a look at the Guide to Tax Efficient Giving to see how much tax you can now save on gifts of cash and especially on gifts of shares. For example, if you are a higher rate tax payer it would actually cost you £18,000 (as a lump sum or over a number of years) to provide the £30,000 needed to name the First Aid Room in the Sports Clubhouse. Now that all the available paving stones have been allocated we are offering a named seat in the auditorium for £100. See under buildings (below). ScholarshipsThere will be two ways of providing funding for scholarships, both of which offer naming opportunities. a. The provision of funding on a recurrent basis i.e. the possibility of naming an Award for the duration of one boy's time in the School.
b. The provision for funding, and naming, these Awards in perpetuity.
