A Reunion was held on June 2nd for Old Radleians who came to Radley 1964 to 1970. On a sunny, warm afternoon a large number met for tea in the new Circular Sports Pavilion looking out over the pitches where cricket matches with
Winchester
were taking place. After tours of Socials and a service in Chapel (
Jerusalem
was sung) there were drinks in Chapel Quad and a dinner in Hall. George Bailey replied to the Warden’s speech, and Dennis Silk kept the assembled company captivated as the clock moved round towards midnight. A few hardy party-goers retired to the JCR to wrap up the evening. 120 Old Radleians of this vintage came, many thanks to some excellent herding work by the Social reps, and there were 20 current and past members of Common Room and their wives present.
