Radley's Mock Election

Radley's Mock Election

‘Question Time’, featuring all seven of Radley's Candidates in the Mock Election (see details below) and chaired by The Warden, was held on Monday 27th April, at 7.45pm in the Theatre - and was streamed "live" to a wider audience of parents, via the Radley Video website.

Issues raised and discussed included Questions on the Economy, Europe, Defence and Immigration. As expected, there was some lively and heated debate, with several of the Candidates clashing heatedly on the key issues.

The seven Candidates in Radley's Mock Election are:

  • Archie Clifton-Brown – The Empire Party – ‘Putting the Great back into Britain’.
  • George Dillon-Robinson – UKIP – ‘Believe in Radley, take back Britain’.
  • George Trelawny – Mebyon Kernow (‘Sons of Cornwall’) – ‘Regain control of your piece of England’.
  • Charlie Rothbarth – Green Party – ‘Vote for what you believe in’.
  • Ollie Horridge – Conservative Party – ‘#ToryforGlory’.
  • Ed Whitbread – Labour Party – ‘A freer society, a better society’.
  • Yannis Gidopoulos – Liberal Democrat Party – ‘The Party of the Centre’.
