RCBC’s first Lent term head race took place on the Tideway in London last Saturday and was an enjoyable and successful day for the boys and coaches. RCBC were able to send out two matched senior eights, a senior third eight and a J16 eight to London. All crews delivered a strong and promising performance putting Radley on map for future races this season. The two matched senior eights finished 4th and 7th in their division and posted fast times that competed with the top eights of other schools. The senior third eight are looking strong and finished 16th in a very competitive and large division showing off the depth of RCBC this season. Our J16s came 6th, showing an encouraging performance for this stage in their season, having only started back again at the beginning of January. Overall, RCBC has had fantastic and professional start to the term with a great turnout and more boys eager to race in the future. We are thankful for all the support received over the weekend, and hope to carry this momentum forward into the season.
