The Service of Remembrance on Sunday 8th November was led by the Assistant Chaplain, the Reverend TJE Fernyhough, along with the Chaplain, the Reverend D. Wilson. Parents, guests and pupils attended. Fr. Michael Price (the Deputy Headmaster of Bloxham School) was the preacher.
Afterwards, there was a Laying of Wreaths at Memorial Arch by the Warden: with the CCF Contingent, the Piper, Olly Farr, and Guard in attendance.
This was followed by a fly-past by a Tiger Moth, the main RAF training aeroplane in the Second World War, in World War II colours. The Tiger Moth released Poppies over Memorial Arch at the close of the Ceremony. Special thanks must go to Mr Chris Zeal, former parent, for battling the inclement weather conditions to pull off such a spectacular-fly past (against the odds of the conditions).
