On Tuesday 28th February, the best of the College's Brass players competed for the Gunn Cup. The Festival Class was won for the second year in a row by trumpet player William Hamilton-Russell, A Social, with a stylish rendition of Grave & Allegro by Handel.
The evening competition was of the highest quality giving Will O'Sullivan, the adjudicator, a very difficult task. Eventually Arran Ryder, H Social, was announced as the winner. He was praised for a beautifully lyrical rendition of Psalm by Turrin.
Congratulations to everyone involved.
