The New Theatre was opened in 2005. It was designed by David Welbourne. It has a seating capacity of nearly 400, with generous rehearsal, dressing, technical and Theatre Studies teaching facilities. The foyer houses artwork by contemporary boys and artists in residence. The foyer area can comfortably host a reception for 130. The Theatre adjoins the Concert Hall (Silk Hall) in the Music School. The courtyard in front of the vestibule is paved in York stone engraved with the names of Radleians from 2004-5, Common Room, Council and Old Radleians.
