Wednesday Activities
Wednesday Activities take place on a Wednesday afternoon, and on occasion a Monday afternoon if there is a CCF field weekend. There are a variety of activities which boys can choose, depending on their year group. These are listed below.

Wednesday Activities - Removes (CCF)
Combined Cadet Force training takes place on Wednesday afternoons, in Wednesday Activity time, as well as one Field Weekend a term and regular camps and courses. All boys undertake one term of Adventure Training activities (the last term of the Shells) and spend one year in the Royal Navy, Army or Royal Air Force Section in the Removes. A number then choose to stay on as volunteers in leadership roles.
Wednesday Activities - Fifths (Community Partnerships)
Those Fifths not continuing as CCF NCOs are involved with Community Partnership activities:
- Concert Parties for the elderly
- Visiting local elderly people (Old Sation House, Mayott House and individual private homes)
- Abingdon Wellbeing and Resource Centre (publish newsletter, IT teaching)
- Radley CE Primary School (classroom support)
- St. Swithun's CE Primary School, Kennington (classroom support)
- Appleton CE Primary School (Classroom support)
- St Nicholas' CE Primary School, Abingdon (after school chess club)
- Rush Common Primary School, Abingdon (after school chess club)
- Thomas Reade Primary School, Abingdon (after school sports club)
- Mary Hare Primary School for the deaf, Newbury
- Kingfisher School, Abingdon (special educational needs)
- Latin teaching at Oxford Academy
- Gardening at Littlemore Church
- Practical projects for Radley Village
- Dog walking
- Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary, Stadhampton
