OR Sailing
Two Radley boats took part in the Arrow Trophy on 5th and 6th October. Boat number 49 was the 'A' boat skippered by Miles Woodhouse (1987) and helmed by Mark Lees (1995). Number 48 was the 'B' boat, skippered by Andrew Collins (1958) and helmed by Jamie Winton (1996).

Rowing
Nicko Dalton (1986), who rowed in the Quintin crew in the Thames Cup at Henley, was the highest placed OR, with a time of 6.04, in the 2002 British Ergometer Championships.

Henry Morris (1996) and Sam Parker (1997) rowed in the Oxford Trial VIIIs race in December. Sam Parker's 'Health' beat Henry Morris's crew 'Safety' by 10 lengths.

Rackets
There were some superb performances by Radleians in the National Schools Rackets Championships at Queen's in December but the major titles were just beyond reach.

• Charlie Monbiot (D), the fourth seed, put out the favourite, Peter Dunbar of Harrow, to reach the final of the Foster Cup senior title but was beaten by George Tysoe of Wellington, 15-4, 15-10, 15-12.

• Fred Bellhouse (A) lost to the winner in the quarter-finals after a 17-16, 15-11, 15-0 battle.

• Alex Hackett (H) lost to Joe Bone of Harrow in the final of the Colts event, 15-1, 15-3, 15-4.

• William Nicholls (H) and Thomas Dance (H) reached the quarter-finals of their age groups.
