Radley College Amnesty International Group is affiliated to the UK section of Amnesty International; and through that connection to the worldwide human rights organisation.

Amnesty International works worldwide for the release of prisoners of conscience, fair trials for political prisoners, and an end to torture, extra-judicial executions, disappearances, and the death penalty. Amnesty also promotes the values of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights.

The Radley group is run by boys, with a secretary and reps in each social. Regular activities include stalls for writing letters and greetings cards to prisoners; fund-raising concerts; and publicity events such as mock cage-sits. Stalls in covered passage at a lunchtime typically result in around 40 letters going to a particular government asking for the release of a prisoner of conscience.

The annual Amnesty Concert in the last week of the Summer Term has become a highlight of the rock concert scene, with up-and-coming bands competing to be selected - in 2000 some 300 people packed into the centre of the doughnut to enjoy the music in this superb open-air venue, and to be reminded that at the heart of a civilised society is respect for human rights.
