| Radley has become the best supported club on the river largely through our “Fly the Flag” programme. We organise support by trying to arrange that as many parents as possible (along with friends and relations) come to regattas to cheer on their sons.
Support of our crews is absolutely vital and a very important contribution to the success of the Boat Club at Heads and Regattas. The focal point at each event will be the small Radley marquee or the Radley Maltese Cross will be flying. To ensure that supporters get the maximum enjoyment from watching rowing, we arrange that at each event a Mariner (Old Radleian oarsman) or one of the Year Group Leaders, will be there to answer questions or coordinate the support for a crew. On various occasions throughout the year we hold social gatherings where you can meet other parents, coaches and Old Radleians. These can include the following:
In addition we organise occasional events like Boat Club Dinners to celebrate key events. Some are self-financing and all are great fun. Invitations come with the RCBC News or are posted directly to parents and Mariners. Lent & Summer 2008
