We have a long-held view that boys should be exposed to the widest range of ideas and perspectives, which includes speakers from across the political spectrum. It is the best way to prepare them for the outside world, and we feel it is our place to welcome speakers who allow boys to exercise critical thought and develop their own opinions. There is nothing more important to us. We are proud to be a bastion of open debate and to celebrate the diversity of ideas.

Our proximity to the University of Oxford is significant in attracting world-leading academics, entrepreneurs and politicians to the College. Unique to Radley is our ‘Provocateur-in-Residence’ programme, where a distinguished figure will spend a week with us to lead talks, seminars and debates. Unfailingly, these occasions lead to far greater engagement with key issues than one would normally expect from teenage boys, and guests leave us energised by the commitment and passion on display.

“I think I have found education perfection. It’s called Radley College and it’s a boarding school near Oxford, England. Inspiring teachers, amazing facilities, and students who are truly dedicated to the pursuit of learning – it is the way schools should be.”
