Legacies have played, and continue to play, an important role in our history. Gifts left to Radley over the years have made the College what it is today, creating transformational opportunities for Radleians and enriching the environment in which they learn.

Remembering Radley in your will represents a lifetime of loyalty and a commitment to our future. Once your loved ones have been provided for, we invite all in the community to please consider making a bequest to Radley to help generations of Radleians to come. Please get in touch for a confidential, non-committal conversation.

INHERITANCE TAX

The Radley Foundation is a registered charity in England and Wales (number 272671) which means that the value of any gift left in a will is deducted from the value of the estate before it is assessed for inheritance tax, reducing tax liability.

Since 2012, tax legislation in the UK provides for reduction in inheritance tax from 40% to 36% where 10% or more of the assessable value of an estate is left to charity.

You should discuss with your solicitor the specifics of inheritance tax, but the latest information is always available on the UK Government website.

There are tax efficient options for those resident outside the UK. To find out more, please get in touch.
