The Radley Rangers play about 20 times per year against other old boy clubs both home and away.

They also enter the Cricketer Cup each year. Membership is £30 per annum.

The Old Radleian Football club play about 20-25 matches a year on Saturdays between September and the end of April.

There is no fee to join but each game costs £7.50 per person to cover match fee, referee etc. They currently use Whitton Sports Centre in Twickenham as their home ground using a 4G all weather pitch. All games are also now filmed and highlights provided after each match.

The Radley Galleons play a number of friendlies against other old boy teams between January and June, mainly at Battersea Park in London.

We also have our annual Galleons Day at Radley where we play the Boys and the Dons. Anyone interested in joining should email Will Swift. There are no annual subs to play for the Galleons.

The Old Radleian Golfing Society welcomes ORs of all ages and golfing abilities with an ‘active’ or ‘non-active’ handicap.

The society has a calendar involving some 18 fixtures; the majority are matches of 2 rounds of foursomes, (with a good lunch), and open to all members. These are friendly, but competitive matches are played against host clubs, or other old boy sides (Haileybury, Canford, Charterhouse, Sherborne, Lancing & Westminster).

The main Society days are The Spring Meeting (Denham Golf Club) and The Autumn Meeting (Royal St George’s). At both meetings there is an 18-hole stableford, and medal, round in the morning with the main Society trophy being awarded for the best handicap stableford score. Foursomes is played in the afternoon after lunch.

The ORGS wants younger ORs to play golf with us, we welcome you to get in touch! All matches and meetings are subsidised to ensure no one is prohibited from playing ORGS golf due to cost.

Aged under 30: £20 per year
Aged 30 and over: £50 per year

Radley Mariners Boat Club (RMBC) is a rowing club authorised under GB Rowing rules. It promotes rowing for OR oarsmen and, from time to time, has crews at events including Henley.

With three medallists at Tokyo 2020, and two silvers and a gold at Paris 2024, we are particularly proud that the overwhelming majority of OR Olympians have been Radley oarsmen in their youth. RMBC also helps arrange hospitality at regattas and head races for parents including an annual lunch at the National Schools Regatta, a drinks party at Henley, and a pub gathering on the Chiswick embankment to watch the Schools Head.

Associated with RMBC, the Radley Mariners Charitable Trust (RMCT) raises money to:

• Help RCBC purchase certain equipment not provided by the College.
• Support parents with the cost of training camps and international rowing.
• Support non-Radley youth rowing in the Thames Valley region.

Radleians who have rowed at the College are offered membership of RMBC upon leaving and there are other members who have been associated with RCBC such as past and present coaches. They are entitled to wear the Mariners’ tie. Parents and other supporters who contribute to the RMCT will also be invited to become Associate Members and receive invitations to events.

The OR Rackets team play each year in the Public Schools Old Boys Doubles competition. The fixture dates are available via the Tennis & Rackets Association.

The aims of the Old Radleian Sailing Association (ORSA) are to provide social and competitive sailing for ORs, to develop and maintain a community for ORs who sail, and to maintain Radley’s presence, through ORs, in the wider sailing community.

ORSA welcomes all ORs, Honorary Members of the Radleian Society, current and past Radley parents and current members of Common Room. All are welcome irrespective of sailing experience or ability!   The cost of fees, insurance etc. is fully funded for those in tertiary education, and in part for other members. Membership is £20 per annum.

There are usually 4-5 events per annum, such as The Belvidere Cup (racing J80s) in April, The Round the Island Race (Isle of Wight in July), Seaview (racing Mermaids against Radley / Winchester / Ryde) in September, The Arrow Trophy (racing 37 / 41 ft yachts against up to 25 other independent schools) in October, and other opportunities for cruising / just getting out on the water.

The OR Cross Country Club is managed by Benedict Pollard (1986, H).

The OR Fives Club play several fixtures throughout the year. A principal aim is to encourage fives playing at the school & beyond.

Anyone interested in playing or attending should email Duncan Neale for more details. There is no joining fee. We play weekend fixtures against the school in term time and participate in the Owers trophy (where the ORs will play against old boys & girls from other Fives-playing schools).

A new OR Padel Club was established in 2026 with a view to arranging matches in London and elsewhere if there is demand. There are also plans to establish padel courts at Radley College, which would offer the option to return to College for a match day.

A new OR Tennis Club was established in 2026, following years of dormancy, with a view to arranging matches in London, elsewhere according to demand, and back at the College for annual match days.

The OR Tennis Club is officially launched! 🎾 The Old Radleian and Family Tennis Match Day took place on Saturday 20 June, bringing together an impressive mix of players ranging in age from 12 to 81 for a day of competition and conviviality on the courts.

OR Croquet has been quietly taking shape over the past two years, and is now gathering real momentum. Building on the growing popularity of the game at the College, ORs have begun to form their own playing community, with increasing participation in competitions, fixtures and social matches alongside current boys and others from the Radley community. Highlights include the annual match at The Hurlingham Club and continued involvement in events linked to the College. New players of all abilities are warmly encouraged to get involved.

We are currently gathering interest for this new OR club, which aims to bring together ORs of all skill levels who share a love for the amazing sport.

The team will be based at Oxford Polo and Kirtlington Park Polo Club, which both offer great facilities and a vibrant polo community. Kirtlington is Radley’s local club and is situated at Park Farm, Akeman Street, Kidlington, OX5 3JQ.

With numerous ORs and current Radleians active in the polo world, the team has a strong foundation and the current plan is to organise friendly matches in 2026, providing opportunities for players to connect in a competitive and social environment.

The Radley Wildebloods was founded as a way for LGBT+ Old Radleians to reconnect and stay in contact.

The aim is to host multiple events throughout the year, including a joint event with gay alumni societies from other public schools. They also try to provide a safe place for LGBT+ ORs who may not be out at home or at work and give them somewhere where they can relax. There is no cost to join the society but events are ticketed. Everyone who is associated with Radley is welcome to join.

The Oriental Club (OC) is ideally located close to Bond Street and within easy reach of the City and Canary Wharf.  This is a great place to meet with friends or business colleagues as it has numerous facilities including meeting rooms, an IT suite, spacious drawing rooms, a Members’ Bar, a Billiards Room and an elegant dining room. The OC also has a vibrant social calendar and organises a programme of events ranging from the annual dinner with guest speakers, to tasting dinners and cultural and sporting events.

There is an OC Younger Members Society, part of the Inter-Club Group, which organises an exciting programme of events for under 35s at a wide range of London clubs. Members are also granted access to reciprocal clubs around the world.

The Oriental Club have introduced their new OC7 scheme which we are able to offer to Radley alumni.  Under this scheme, alumni pay a one-off subscription of £450 which covers membership between the ages of 18 and 25 with no entrance fee.
