Radley College takes great pride in the presentation of its extensive grounds and gardens, and we are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Apprentice Grounds Person to join our dedicated team. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of grounds maintenance, including the care of sports pitches across the College estate.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of sports pitches and outdoor facilities
Helping with seasonal tasks such as mowing, seeding, and turf management
Learning to operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and equipment
Ensuring a high standard of presentation across the College grounds

The ideal candidate will:

Be reliable, motivated, and eager to learn new skills
Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
Take pride in their work and pay attention to detail
Be a team player with a strong work ethic
This is a full-time apprenticeship in Sports Turf  with structured training and support, leading to a recognised qualification in horticulture/grounds maintenance.
