Radley College is seeking to appoint a Senior Greenkeeper to maintain the nine-hole golf course in optimum conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and development of one of the largest and most prestigious school sports grounds in the country.
The Senior Greenkeeper plays a key role in the upkeep and development of the College’s nine-hole golf course. Reporting to the Grounds Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring the course is maintained to the highest possible standard, suitable for regular play and competition. The role combines hands-on grounds maintenance with day-to-day staff supervision, requiring strong leadership and a practical, detail-oriented approach.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic and attention to detail with a knowledge of golf course maintenance.
Hours of work are 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. In addition to this, the department covers weekend working on a rota basis. Weekend hours will vary according to season and conditions.
