Dear Mariners,
I am very pleased to say that we will be running the Mariners’ Challenge again this year at the Boat Club.
It will take place on Sunday 8th June, starting at 11.30am at the Boathouse, with the same format as in previous years. There will be a Mariners’ eight looking to challenge the current 1st VIII over 500m, and an opportunity for any other Mariners’ members to head out onto the river, be it for a sprint race, a relaxed paddle or a chance to row with your sons.
This year we will also be looking to name a number of our Filippi pairs and fours after recent ORs who represented their country at the Junior World Championships.
There will be food and drink on offer at the clubhouse, and a good chance to catch up with friends.
Please let us know you’re coming, for catering purposes, by registering below no later than Friday 30th May.
I look forward to seeing many of you through the course of the 2025 season, and I hope that we can have as good a turn out as we had in previous years for the Mariners’ Challenge.
