Congratulations to Radley’s guitar and saxophone quartets, who advanced to the U19 senior finals of the Pro Corda National Chamber Music competition at Woldingham School on March 16th, both placing in the top 40 school ensembles in the country.
The four guitarists – Zubyn (V, G), Rex (V, H), Moses (6.2, E) and Joe (R, J) – reached the climactic stage of the U16 competition last year, while the saxophonists – Sam (V, L), Joss (6.1, A), Marco (6.2, H) and Ed (6.2, D) – made their inaugural appearance at this stage of the contest. This is the first time two College chamber groups have reached the Pro Corda finals in the same year.
