Radley College has won the Muddy Stiletto’s Best Schools Award 2025 for ‘Giving Something Back’.

The accolade is for Sports Partnership programmes specifically (including Rowing Academy, First Pitch Baseball, and Sports STEPS), in association with Active Oxfordshire and organised (on the Radley end) by Peter Bennett. These involve working alongside primary and secondary schools to help ensure that younger generations can access a healthy, active start in life – including the training of 64 Radley Vs and 6.1s as Young Sports Leaders (YSL) over four years.

John Sparks, director of Partnerships, writes, “It’s wonderful to see Pete’s work in sports partnership recognised.”

Radley was also a Finalist in the ‘Dynamic Performing Arts’ category (for November’s production of Les Miserables) and was Highly Commended in the ‘Excellence in STEM’ category (for its VEX Robotics programme).
